I had a veal dish in a garlic cream sauce. I thought the meal was very well done and the veal was prepared nicely. My mushroom soup starter was also quite good with big chunks of wild mushrooms. That they do not take reservations was a bit of a drag, but sitting by the gas fireplace was a good way to spend the time waiting.
One thing they need to do is clarify that the meals do not come with pasta.
My lasagna was good but not above the norm. I started with the Minestrone soup, again good but forgettable. Bread was great/fresh (even after the talk of if the oil was OK or tainted). Desert was excellent. I was very satisfied with the wine and my Peroni.
Service was a little flaky at times (might have been the large group) and the decor seemed a little thrown together with items found at Homegoods (gas fireplace was a nice touch though even if I had to sit looking at the butt end of a cherub).

Overall, tasty Italian and I would go back.
